Steve has worked in the social services in Central Florida since 1993. He has been a National Board Certified Counselor(NCC) since 2000, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor(LMHC in FL) since 2002, and a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC in GA) since 2021. He earned his BA in Sociology from SUNY at Geneseo in 1992 and his MA in Mental Health Counseling from University of Central Florida in 2000. Steve provides clients with compassionate, contemporary & effective mental health counseling services.
Steve helps people(age 15 & up) who are struggling with depressive symptoms; anxiety; mood swings; stress management; anger management; frustration tolerance; coping, social, & relationship skills; adjustment issues; relationship issues; grief/loss issues; parenting; mindfulness; and life enhancement; amongst others. Using an eclectic & comprehensive approach tailored to the needs of each client, Steve facilitates positive change by assisting people in identifying the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are keeping them stuck(and/or preventing them from moving forward) in order to overcome struggles/obstacles and work towards reaching their full potential.
Steve enjoys traveling the world, playing guitar, going to live music events, backing his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his wife and dogs.
