Are you currently feeling alone and thinking that no one could possibly understand what you or your family are walking through at this time? Sometimes life stressors get so overwhelming that individuals and families need a little outside support. I am passionate about helping families find ways to better communicate with each other and begin to change destructive patterns in their relationships that have lead them to an unhealthy place in their lives. I have worked with individuals and families on issues covering depression, anxiety, parenting, aggression, low-self-esteem, defiant behavior, problems adjusting to divorce, grief, and abuse.
I use a strength based approach to help individuals, couples, and families find qualities about themselves and their relationships that are working and could be the catalyst for change. I also use Solution Focus and a Cognitive Behavioral Family Systemic approach to arrive to the established goal in therapy.
I am trained in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy to help parents strengthen their relationship with their children and learn how to communicate through play. I can work with Spanish speaking individuals, couples, and families.
