Grief and loss counseling
Support after the death of someone you love, or another significant loss.
Grief has no timetable. After the death of someone close, or another major loss such as a divorce, a diagnosis or a change in health, it is common to feel a mix of sadness, anger, guilt, numbness or exhaustion.
Our counselors offer a calm, supportive space to talk about your loss, make sense of what you are feeling, and find ways to carry it forward. Several of our counselors also work with chronic illness, aging and faith-based concerns.
Grief counseling may help if you
- feel overwhelmed by a loss, recent or long ago
- are finding it hard to manage day-to-day life
- are supporting a child or teen who is grieving
- want space to talk that friends and family can’t always give

Common questions
How soon after a loss should I seek counseling?
There is no right time. Some people reach out within weeks; others years later. If grief is weighing on you, it is reason enough.
Do you offer faith-based grief counseling?
Faith-based counseling is one of our specialties. Several counselors list spirituality or faith-based counseling on their profiles.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. This website and our contact form are not monitored around the clock.
